The Stopwatch We Can't See: How to Start Living In Alignment, with Purpose and Passion

We all have a stopwatch we can't see.
It started before we understood what time was, and one day, it will stop without asking whether we're ready.
There is no countdown telling us how much time remains.
As I have had to process loss as of late, I've found myself becoming more intentional about something I once thought happened automatically: LIVING.
Not simply existing, surviving, working, paying bills, or waiting for life to finally slow down. I mean LIVING -- regulated, on purpose, with purpose, and with passion.
No more accidental living.
The Invisible Stopwatch
Loss has a painful way of making time visible. It reminds us of the conversations we postpone, the boundaries we keep saying we'll set, the memories we intend to make, the healing we put off, and the joy we promise ourselves we'll experience one day.
But while we're waiting for the "right time"...
time is still moving.
We can't control the stopwatch, but we can become intentional about what we do while it's running.
STOP Existing. START Living.
Maybe the stopwatch isn't only symbolic of life eventually ending. Maybe it's also a reminder that while we're here, we still have permission to press START.
START choosing peace.
START making the memory.
START taking the picture.
START saying what needs to be said.
START pursuing what keeps calling you.
START loving people while they're here.
And STOP postponing joy.
STOP confusing being busy with being fulfilled.
STOP allowing survival mode to become permanent.
STOP waiting for the perfect time to participate in your own life.
The Maya Method™ - L.I.V.E.
L - Live regulated. Listen to what your mind, body, and emotions need.
I - Invest intentionally. Be mindful of where your time, energy, love, and attention go.
V - Value the present. Today isn't just a hallway to somewhere else.
E - Engage with purpose. Don't simply occupy space in your life-participate in it.
Reflect & Connect
Instead of asking, "How much time do I have left?" ask:
What am I doing with the time I have right now?
Where have I been existing instead of living?
What have I been waiting to START?
And if I could actually see my stopwatch, would I live differently today?
We don't get to decide how much time is on the clock. But while it's running, we get to decide how much LIFE we put into the time.
