Mindful Perceptions is a mental health counseling practice that supports those who are ready to understand their experiences, explore obstacles to growth, tend to emotional wounds, and expand their capacity for wellness.

This may include navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, stress, trauma, or unhelpful patterns, as well as cultivating greater balance, presence, and connection in everyday life.
Our female team brings a range of lived experiences and therapeutic approaches, with a shared dedication to culturally attuned, trauma-informed care. We offer a reduced-rate option through our graduate-level intern, Avi, who provides services in English and Spanish for clients seeking more accessible support.

Our Approach

Whole-Person Healing
We support people in exploring the patterns that hold them back and in cultivating practices for healing- mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

People First, Therapists Second
Our therapeutic style is a blend of clinical training and lived experiences. We lead with empathy, cultural awareness, and connection because healing starts with feeling seen and heard.

Wellness-Based Approach
Our main focus is to help you improve your quality of life. This may look like addressing sleep patterns, nourishment, movement, and relationships alongside your presenting concerns.

Spiritual & Somatic Integration
We welcome spiritual seekers and those curious about altered states of consciousness. Whether you’re interested in energy work, psychedelic-assisted therapy, or integration of another form of healing, we offer awareness and nonjudgmental support.

Meet Alexandria
Hi, I’m Alexandria, the founder of Mindful Perceptions. Like you, I have many roles that I embody each day.
One of these is a licensed mental health counselor in Florida. I created Mindful Perceptions in 2019, amidst working in an agency setting that did not align with my values or beliefs about the mental health field.
​
I wanted the freedom to help others from a wellness perspective and meet them where they are in their healing journey. Five years later, it is now a group practice that embodies learning, healing and wellness.
